Happy New Year! Our summer drabble contest was a huge success. Now it's winter and many of us are shivering through the coldest temperatures in years. How about some new Zutara drabbles to warm us up? This time the contest features a special
wintry twist.
The RULES:1. 100 words. No more. No less.
No exceptions. Your drabble must include the word
winter. All forms of the word (
winters, winterly, etc.) are acceptable; you may use it as a noun, verb, adjective--whatever your fancy. So come up with ninety-nine more words and you're set!
2. Any theme and all ratings and genres are welcome: romance, friendship, comedy, drama, horror, AU, etc.
3. You may enter
ONE drabble in the contest.
4. A separate entry post will appear on Sunday, January 10th, where you may submit your drabbles as comments.
The entry post will stay open through midnight Wednesday, January 13th. All drabbles must be entered by Midnight EST on Wednesday night.
CONTEST ENTRIES MAY ONLY BE ENTERED ON THE OFFICIAL ENTRY POST (we don’t want to flood people’s friends-lists). Please do not enter your drabbles here.
5. Voting will commence on Thursday, January 14th.
6. Winners and participants will receive a spiffy banner, bragging rights, and a glowing sense of self-satisfaction.
Feel free to publicize this contest in other journals and ask any questions you have below. Good luck and Happy Writing!
